2019 STIHL Battery Hedge Trimmers HLA 85

The HLA 85 STIHL Lithium-Ion extended reach hedge trimmer offers lightweight, balanced trimming thanks to its brushless, high-efficiency electric motor. Part of the STIHL AP series, the HLA 85 offers long run times (up to 11 hours with the AR 900 backpack battery) with no gradual drop in performance.

The HLA 85 features a variable speed throttle trigger, offering optimal cut control. It is equipped with an articulating gearbox (-45° to 70°), for cutting the tops of hedges and near the ground. The HLA 85 runs extremely quiet and produces zero exhaust emissions – great for working in noise-restricted areas. Best of all, there’s no fuel cost, minimal maintenance and no restrictive extension cords.

Run time may vary based on battery type, charge level and capacity, model, operating style and conditions. Batteries and chargers can be purchased separately or as a combined set with tool.
